Andrew

Andrew, Age 5: Colorado
Andrew created this great piece of art after his grandmother read him the story We Serve Too!. Andrew, who has no direct connection with the military wanted to show his love and support for the troops who he found out were fighting for him. His poster reads: 'I pledge allegiance to the flag... love the warrior soldiers'. Thanks Andrew for sharing what you have made and supporting our troops!

''We Serve, Too! will grab at the heart of a soldier, spouse and child, reminding them about the honorable sacrifice each is making. Deployment is difficult enough to explain to a spouse, but this book puts pictures and words to the feelings that children experience. We Serve, Too! will be a great tool in the hands of parents facing deployment. Had it been available when I deployed, my children would have worn it out.''

Jesse Staunton Chaplain, Colorado Army National Guard
